Finance Department

The City Chamberlain receives and collects all taxes, water and sewer charges and such other fees and rentals due to the city as are provided for in the City Charter, Municipal Code, or in the rules and regulations of the Board of Public Works.   In addition the Chamberlain enforces the collection of delinquent property taxes and liens from unpaid fees, charges and rentals due to the city.

The City Chamberlain is responsible for the custody, receipt and disbursement of city moneys and investments in accordance with such procedures as may be prescribed pursuant to law.
