The Programs & Services Committee met on July 9, 2008 to discuss the Noise and Leaf Blower Ordinances. The Noise Ordinance was approved in Committee and will be before the Full Board on July 14, 2008. The leaf blower ordinance was HELD for further discussion by the Committee and discussion is expected to continue early this fall. The proposed ordinance currently includes a seasonal ban for all leaf blowers from May 1 through September 30, however, the Committee may now be looking at changing the times of day that leaf blowers are allowed to be used instead of an outright ban.
